Are we to be known heretofore as the Red Liner Diner designer? We are making this antique diner, which spent nearly 20 years in Dover, and even longer in storage, brand new again. The finished work will be historically faithful, and will open at the soon-to-be-new Southgate plaza in Portsmouth.

Roger's Red Liner Diner is expected to open sometime this fall, is the latest restaurant venture for Roger Elkus, owner of the Me & Ollie's Bakery Cafes. The diner will have room for 66 seats and will offer breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Seabrook ArialSeabroook Crossing is the Project of the Month in the New England Real Estate Journal, and THA Architects is the architect of record for the project. Here's the 'lede' from the story in the July 4-10 issue (2014)

Construction is underway at Waterstone Retail's Seabrook Crossing, a 145,000 s/f ground-up developmentlocated on Rte. 1. Sitework began in April and construction started in June. Seabrook Crossing is located at the intersection of Rte. 1 (Lafayette Rd.) and 107 (Provident Way) just one quarter mile from I-95. Retailers signed on at Seabrook Crossing include Hobby Lobby, Bob's Discount Furniture, Goodwill, and IHOP. Many other national retailers will be announced soon. Seabrook Crossing will consist of eight buildings with two outparcel opportunities. The center will feature lush landscaping, tree-lined walkways, and pedestrian-friendly connections among retail buildings.

Mixed Use Rochester

The Rochester Plaza is a mixed-use project consisting of retail stores on the first floor and office space on the upper floor. A High traffic location with tremendous visibility and frontage on Route 125, Rochester NH.<br />With a shingle style architecture and metal roof forms, the mixed-use building reinforces the area as a gateway to Rochester from Route 16. The lower floor is suitable for a bank, dry cleaners, coffee shop and a financial advisor space. The upper floor consists of 5 office suites ranging from approximately 1386 sf to 2030 sf.

Located in downtown Portsmouth, NH at 121 Congress Street adjacent to Pars Oriental Rugs store on one side and the Café Mediterraneo on the other, the proposed project features the rehabilitation of an existing +/- 3,100 S.F. condominium retail space with the construction of a new café and bakery facility. Inspiration for the Portsmouth Baking Company is that of café style restaurants located in New York City.  The proposed renovation is located within the Worth Building. The main entry to the Portsmouth Baking Company will be from Congress Street with an area of approximately 1,500 S.F. for a Café restaurant while the lower level houses approximately 800 S.F. of kitchen space to support the Café.  The upper floor will house a bakery of approximately 800 S.F. to provide additional support to the Café and various area businesses.
